Analysis of the tidal regime around the Vietnam Delta and the characteristics of storm surges and typhoons. Production of report in support to the Flood Management and Mitigation Programme of the Mekong River Commission (MRC) Secretariat Phnom Pen illustrating the importance to flood management of the influence of tidal conditions, which extend over 400km inland in the Mekong, with recommendations that climate conditions, typhoons and storm surge events are included in all future studies.
