A project with SPREP, under the Scaling up the Pacific Adaptation programme, demonstrating the benefits of multiple small-scale adaptation projects. Tasks included site investigations, analysis, modelling, water security and food security assessments. Prioritised actions included mangrove rehabilitation, foreshore vegetation management, multi-hazard early warning systems, trialling new food cultivars with greater salt tolerance, and the trial of new wood burning fuel-efficient stoves, solar panels, rainwater tanks, and small-scale water production systems.
