A detailed hydrologic assessment and flood study for the Mossman River catchment, located in Far North Queensland. The project included site investigation, extreme rainfall analysis, catchment delineation, hydrology modelling, hydraulic modelling, and a flood risk assessment. A range of mitigation actions were designed and tested to support ongoing flood risk management, which included updates to the local forecasting and warning system, new levee investigations and design, and a local drainage study.
