A hydraulic investigation within a catchment flood study to test the impact of infrastructure blockages and bridge piles on hydraulic conveyance and flood levels. The bridge assessment used 1D-2D hydraulic model Tuflow, with sensitivity testing undertaken for a worst-case blockage assessment, following guidance from the ARR19 blockage assessment procedures. Due to progressive development of bridge structures, the current blockage covers over 36% of waterway cross-sectional area.
