JBPacific are developing a flash flood forecasting and warning system for three communities; Burringbar, Mooball and Crabbes Creeks. The project includes site assessments, data collection and review, hydrologic analysis, hydraulic modelling, catchment assessment including triggers and thresholds, and development of a new warning system. The forecasting system was developed within Delft-FEWS, and links with the Enviromon stream gauge system and BoM rainfall forecasts.
