JBP assessed design wave conditions at a new barge loading facility in Far North Queensland. The coastal assessment involved the use of a recently developed regional-scale SWAN spectral wave model along the FNQ coast. Boundary conditions input to XBEACH and ran for various return periods and design scenarios to determine the sheltering provided to a smaller public boat ramp from the larger boat landing facility.
