Extreme weather events are a significant issue across New South Wales. Our Coffs Harbour office delivers our work throughout NSW, working on flood risk management, coastal hazards, stormwater management, and engineering designs for seawalls, jettys, boat ramps, river protection, and drainage.

Our work includes flood studies, flood risk management plans, stormwater investigations, coastal processes assessments, coastal hazard studies, coastal management programs, flood forecasting systems, engineering assessments, dredge studies, beach nourishment designs, erosion assessments, coastal inundation/storm tide modelling and mapping, disaster risk reduction studies and coastal recession assessments.

The NSW coastline is a dynamic environment. The open coast, coastal lagoons, embayments, headlands and breakwaters all influence our coastal processes. We work on Coastal Management Programs (CMP) under the NSW Government's coastal management framework, having worked on the Clarence Valley CMP, Clarence River CMP, Kempsey CMP, MidCoast Southern Estuaries CMP, and the Wollongong CMP. We have delivered catchment studies and water quality management plans, including the Bellingen Upper Catchment WQMP and the Bonville Pine Creek SMP. Our hazard studies include analysis of waves, currents, sediment transport, longshore processes, overtopping, erosion and catchment water quality.
